A pair of suspects stand accused of murder in the wake of the jailhouse death of ex-Lostprophets frontman and found guilty of child sex crimes Ian Watkins.
Rashid Gedel, 25, and Samuel Dodsworth, 43 now face murder accusations and will appear before Leeds magistrates’ court on Monday morning, as stated by police authorities.
Watkins, 48, was undergoing a 29-year incarceration at HMP Wakefield, with a further six years to be served on licence, after confessing to numerous sex crimes among them the tried rape of a very young child.
Watkins was taken into custody following a substance-related warrant at his Pontypridd home on 21 September 2012, when a large number of computers, mobile phones and storage devices were taken as evidence.
